Eligibility for Admission in Maharashtra Institute of Technology, [MIT] Pune:
Candidate should be an Indian national and should have passed the higher secondary examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination with English/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology. The candidate should secure a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. And minimum aggregate of 45% marks for candidates which belongs to reserved category [SC/ ST/ OBC]. Candidates should also have a valid scorecard of Joint Entrance Examination [JEE].
Candidate who have done diploma are also eligible, they must be an Indian National and should have passed Post-Senior Secondary Class or Post-Higher Secondary Class Diploma course in Engineering/ Technology from an institution approved by All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE]. Candidates must score minimum 45% marks in the same discipline.

Candidates from national and international countries are eligible for management quota admission in MIT Pune. Candidates with valid Joint Entrance Examination scorecard conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education are also eligible. They must have scored an aggregate of minimum 45% marks in higher secondary examinations [HSE] from a recognised university or board and a minimum aggregate of 40% marks for reserved category in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology.
