Eligibility for Admission to Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, [VIT] Pune:


For admission in 1st year of B.Tech:

Candidate must have passed 10+2 [Higher Secondary Examination] with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks. And minimum aggregate required for backward class students [SC/ ST] is 45%. Candidates should have taken Physics and Mathematics as the major subjects and anyone out of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects. Candidates also have to appear in Joint Entrance Examination [JEE] Main and Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test [MHT-CET] and should have a valid score card of the same.


Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test [MHT-CET]:

Conducted by State Government of Maharashtra and authorised by Director of Technical Education [DTI], Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test [MHT-CET] is a state level entrance exam. This common entrance test is organised for various Engineering and Technology as well as Pharmacy courses offered by various Government and Private colleges in Maharashtra.


Joint Entrance Examination [JEE] Test:

It is a national level entrance exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education [CBSE] New Delhi for admissions to engineering programs.


Management Quota in VIT Pune:
